Django in June may happen only once a year, but for folks in the Valley who love this music year-round, there's Swing Caravan. You may have caught them at the Sierra Grille, First Night Northampton, the Montague Bookmill, PACE in Easthampton or at their regular Friday night gig at The Yellow Sofa in downtown Northampton. Wherever you catch them, you're likely to catch the Django-bug. This music tends to be infectious, and no more so than when it is played in a casual setting by talented musicians at ease on their home turf.
As part of our weeklong festivities, Swing Caravan will be offering a dinner showcase at Northampton's Sierra Grille on Thursday, June 12th. The Grille will be offering a special menu for what promises to be a delightful evening that will nourish both body and soul.
