- 75 private rooms (bathrooms are shared, of course)
- a number of high-ceilinged, beautifully appointed gathering spaces for clinics and jamming on the first floor
- a wide, sunny corridor where our vendors will be set up
- a patio and extensive lawn
- an elevator
- a layout that will make it easier for us to give women their own dorm/bathroom space. (Details here.)
- a very few (like, two) rooms for couples. (Contact me for more about this.)

The dorm is a very short walk from the venues for our Friday and Saturday night performances and a 15 minute walk from downtown Northampton, so once you are here you can say goodbye to your car for the weekend and know that you have a safe place to stash your instrument should you ever want to give your blistered fingers a break.
We offer an on-campus meal plan for both Django Camp participants and those who join us for the entire weekend. Having partaken for the first time in '07 we can now attest that the food is very good for dining hall fare. The folks at Smith are happy to accomodate a variety of special dietary needs if advance arrangements are made. Sharing meals together allows us to not only stay well-fed during our time here, but well-connected with each other. I strongly recommend going this route while you're here rather than fending for yourself.
While there may be rooms available for folks who show up unannounced, advance reservation of rooms — whether for Django Camp or the weekend — is strongly advised. You can make these arrangements under Tickets and Registration.
